The Sacred Path

Started 25th January 2010 with over 240 students......Level 1 to be retaught and Level 2 started 13th February 2011

Arees foundationThe Sacred Path is a project launched by JIC that is dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of the core sacred sciences of Islam. Thus The Sacred Path is seen as a pathway to knowledge that symbolically represents Islamic scholarship from which the deprived Ummah can revitalise itself. To achieve this goal, the Sacred Path initiative seeks to provide quality educational programs for brothers and sisters so that they may connect themselves to the rich intellectual legacy that we have inherited from our scholars.

In today's time it has become common for people to take knowledge directly out of books without the guidance of qualified scholars, leading to a growing trend of complete misguidance. In response to this widespread dilemma, we aim to satisfy the ever increasing need of providing relevant and meaningful teachings particularly to English speaking Muslims living in the UK today. As we fully understand the difficulty many people face in committing to long periods of study; we hope to present an easy and accessible opportunity of seeking sacred knowledge by hosting a range of public events, weekend seminars, Deen intensives, and other selected short courses that cover a range of subjects. One can be assured that our teachings are firmly rooted in authentic scholarship, and taught in a way that is dynamic and applicable to the modern world.

Aims and Objectives

  • To organise high quality traditional Islamic programmes catering specifically for the English speaking Muslim community
  • Equip students with the required knowledge to lead an exemplary practical life.
  • Produce sincere and competent individuals who are motivated in carrying the true message of Islam
  • To bridge the gap between traditionally trained scholars, and Muslims living in the West through the promotion of knowledge and traditional Islamic values
