Shaykh Zia-ul-Mustafa is widely regarded as one of the leading Hadeeth Scholars of the Indian sub-continent. Having studied and mastered the Islamic science under the greatest scholars of  India at a very young age. He then began teaching the sciences which he continues to do to this day. He has held the post of being the Grand Mufti and Principle of the famous Jamia Ashrefeeya Mubarkpur University and he currently runs two institutes in his home town of Ghosi, India. The Shaykh descends from a scholarly family.  His father was the famous jurist Al-Sadrus Shariah Maulana Amjid Ali - who was a very close friend and companion of the Great Imaam Ahmad Rida Khan and was the very person who led the Janaaza prayer of the Great Imaam.
